Jennifer Anderson
Jennifer is 28 yrs old and first moved to Deddington in 1993. She read music at the University of Bristol, where she was president of the music society (which had the elegant acronym BUMS). As part of her degree she composed her own music and played the violin in the university symphony orchestra. In her spare time, she sang with the university big band and attended open mic nights with fellow students.
Following university, Jennifer gained experience and qualifications in the wine industry, before moving into HR. She now works for Pearson UK, who are supporting her through part-time postgraduate study.
Jennifer has worked with local music producer and close family friend Julian Elkan. She also very much enjoys meeting fellow musicians through the Deddington Festival events, particularly jazz group Stekpanna, who return year after year to entertain us. She is delighted to be participating in Deddington Radio and thinks it's great that so much musical activity goes on in her not-so-sleepy Oxfordshire home village.
